Abstract

The wireless landscape is experiencing unprecedented change as networks transition to more open and intelligent frameworks. At the forefront of this evolution, Open Radio Access Networks (O-RAN) are breaking down traditional barriers, creating next generation networks where flexibility thrives and AI-driven innovation accelerates.

This talk examines the transformative convergence of AI and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) within the O-RAN paradigm. This powerful combination unlocks new dimensions of network efficiency and scalability while maintaining essential trust guarantees. We demonstrate a comprehensive approach that connects cutting-edge theory with real-world deployment strategies, creating the foundation for trusted intelligent wireless infrastructure.

Bio

Xiaochan Xue is a Senior Ph.D. candidate in the Analytics and Information Security for Complex Systems Lab (AISecLab) at the Stevens Institute of Technology. She holds a B.S. in Communication Engineering from Jilin University (2017) and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology (2020). Her research focuses on AI-driven wireless communication and sensing, with an emphasis on trusted 5G, Sub-6G, NextG networks, and O-RAN security. She aims to enhance the reliability and flexibility of next-generation wireless systems.
